Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of fast and thrilling racing amidst the breathtaking mountains of Blacksburg, VA. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore new trails and relive cherished memories while enjoying a fantastic weekend of racing. This race welcomes riders of all levels, from collegiate to non-collegiate.
September 5th, XCO: XCO will take place on Brush Mountain, following the same route as last year but including the new Chimney climbing trail to create a more gradual prologue. This course is challenging, with lots of climbing, flat rock gardens, and plenty of descending. Racers are highly encouraged to pre-ride the course before their race to get an understanding of the terrain here in Blacksburg! September 6th, XCC :
XCC takes place at Blacksburg's wonderful skills park, allowing for plenty of spectating for friends and family. The course is set on a wide-open hill/field that hosts a glimpse of the town's jumps and man-made rock gardens. This creates plenty of punchy climbs and fun descents. September 6th, ENDURO:
The Brush Mountain Enduro takes place in both Brush Mountain Park on the front side of Brush Mountain and the Jefferson National Forest on the back side of the mountain, giving riders a taste of everything Blacksburg has to offer. Including flowy man-made single track, jumps, janky loose rocks and shale, by the time you're done with this race you understand why Blacksburg has become known as one of the best riding destinations in Virginia. The course will be (mostly) taped by Saturday morning, and riders are encouraged to pre-ride the course. Understand that while the XCO is going on, there will be active racers on Gateway Trail and Chimney. Be advised to stay off those trails till all racing has ended around 2:00 Saturday. |

Parking!!
We ask that we keep the Gateway Parking lot clear of most cars. We will allow team vans and volunteers to park in the Gateway lot, but ask single cars and other participants to park at Rising Silo Brewery, located at 2351 Glade Rd, Blacksburg, VA 24060. Please give a big thanks to Rising Silos for helping us out this year with parking, and bear with us about the inconvenience. The race is being held in a public park, and we must allow for town residents and visitors to also enjoy Heritage and Brush Mountain park while we race! We encourage people to carpool. If dropping off people or items, you may park for a couple of minutes to unload. |
